今天菸害防制法新制開始上路了, 不管是在電視上聽見或在我工作地點常常會有聽到人說 ” 抽煙的人也應該要有人權啊! ” 抽煙的人認為他們的人權被這個法給剝奪了. 他們的人權真正有被剝奪嗎?? 這個問題值得討論. 一個人可以有權力, 但這個人執行他的權力時, 不應當要去傷害到他人, 這樣的權力才有它的正當性. 當這個人的權力會去傷害到他人時, 這樣的權力就應當喪失. 菸害防制法新制只是規範抽煙者如何執行他們應有的權力, 這樣不算是剝奪他們抽煙的權力, 只是說當你們在執行你的權力時(抽煙), 不得去傷害到他人!
舉例好了, 嚼檳榔對執行權力者同樣有相同的傷害, 但我們有法去規範要如何始用, 或在那裡可以始用嗎, 我記得沒錯的話好像只有規範如何遺棄而以, 不能隨便亂吐, 但沒有限定場所. 因為嚼檳榔並不會去傷害到其它人.
所以抽煙者請不要隨便的說新法讓你喪失了你的權力, 沒有, 你還是有抽煙的權力, 新法只是規範當你在執行你權力時不得加害無辜者!

There are many form of success in life. Some of them can be quantitative measure, some cannot. For example, standardise test is an example of the quantitative measurable. There’s people that is good at it, and there’s also people that sucks at it. However, there are improvement in life that cannot be measure, like improvement in friendship, improvement in oral skills. These cannot be measurable as precise as the test. And these skills takes longer to excel. As long as there’s an improvement, it doesn’t matter that what kind of improvement, we should all happy for that person.

I recently try my second time on a standalize test and I did not do too well on the test. I start questioning myself am I trying to be someone that I really am not? Am I chasing something that I really don’t have? I don’t know, but I need to find that out.

My ex boss just transfer to another department about a month ago. One day, he came back to office and complain to one of the guy in the office about how bad it is to work at the other department. Like how they don’t have the necessary documentation for the on going project. This is where it gets funnier, when he saw me walk right by him. He lower the volume a little bit. I just realized just happen. He does not want me to know what he is complaining about. It was the same stuff that I was complaining to him while I first worked at this department.
I just think it’s really funny that he complain about the same thing while he did nothing when he is our boss. I have problems with him not to do anything when he had the power to change some stuff. He is the boss of the team, and the leader, he could make the team so much better, he could change our team dynamic, make our work has more sense, but he did not do much at all. So, what can I said, the only thing I can do is to not to make the same mistake once I am in his position.

Skype is down for the last three hours or so, I don’t know what’s going on, but I hope it will back to normal. I hope it’s not from the typhoon that is about to land.
